The quality of the parts in this kit is excellent and also included the finger light pusher rods, light rod hinge wire, crown shaft coupler and all the mounting screws for the brain, neck, motor mount and crown shaft.  This kit far exceeded my expectations, and was definitely worth the wait.

Norm can be a little hard to get a hold of and the delivery time could have been much quicker, but his parts were well worth the wait.  He's a nice guy to deal with and managed to come through with some high quality pieces at an excellent value.  The parts are all well thought out, and came with all mounting hardware.  The fit and finish is outstanding!

Norm Sockwell's treadsection: Excellent item! Great appearance, solid construction, and real looking. Although it's made out of a light metal (aluminum), don't be fooled by its material. This piece is solid. I have no doubts that it could even be upgraded for mobility. My requirements in mobility is only to have B9 move up three feet, swivel and say a phrase, then move back to its compartment. Steerage is not necessary. For those who fear their robots might tip over due to movement on a light pedestal, there's plenty of room inside for sandbags! Of coarse, the space could be weighted wisely with batteries, instead. For value, I think this part is worth more than I paid. Despite slow communication through the ordering process, Norm still gets a high rank because he came forth with solutions when he called me and later actually followed through. Very nice man. That's not to say that I wouldn't think twice before my next purchase. Bottom line, I'm happy and that's what counts.

I received the Neck Bracket from Norm today and it is great workmanship!  It matches perfectly with the excellent Brain cup I purchased earlier from him.  I understand Norm was moving shop which is reason the communications and delivery time ratings are down from the 5's on my last purchase.  Regardless, I still plan on some other purchases from him in the near future. Purchased Rubber Arms 4/8/04.  I just received my Rubber Arms last night.  These arms are excellent!  Heavy duty rubber, very even thickness, and the flange at the torso end makes installation a snap.  I would highly recommend these arms to anyone who wants rubber arms on their B9.  Norm shipped them out quickly and was fast in responding to my emails.
